Shipping Process
At Five Star Shipping, we aim to make your shipping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s how our shipping process works:
Order and Ship to Our U.S. Address:
- Use our U.S. address to receive your purchases from online retailers.

Forwarding to the Bahamas:
- Once your package arrives at our U.S. address, we will forward it to our facility in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
- You will receive a notification once your package is in transit.
Customs Clearance:
- We handle all customs clearance procedures on your behalf.
- Ensure you provide all necessary invoices and documentation.
Locker Distribution:
- Your package will be placed in a secure locker for you to pick up at your convenience.
- You will receive a notification with the locker location and access details.
Shipping Times
- Standard shipping from the U.S. to the Bahamas typically takes 5-7 business days.
- Expedited shipping options are available upon request.
Shipping Fees
- Shipping fees are based on the weight and dimensions of your package.
- Additional charges may apply for oversized or hazardous items.
Five Star Shipping Regulation
Bahamas customs requires invoices for all imported goods in order to determine their value and duty. All invoices must be legible and cost-itemized. Even if the goods have been used, they must still be accompanied by an itemized cost invoice in order to be cleared by customs. Invoices should be emailed to [email protected].
Five Star Shipping can clear goods on your behalf if you give us permission to act as your agent. As a result, Bahamas Customs requires us to obtain a completed Bahamas Customs Form C44 from you, as well as a copy of your government ID.

If You’re Shipping a DRONE
You must register with the Aviation Department if you are shipping a DRONE. This is a quick and simple process; please register by visiting www.apps.bcaa.gov.bs.

Check with us first to see if we allow you to ship an item to your U.S. address. Check out the list of dangerous, illegal, and prohibited items below. You must also ensure that the importation of your item complies with all applicable laws. Failure to comply will result in legal consequences.
